Join JTS for this free webinar designed to inspire you as you prepare for this year’s High Holiday season. This program is offered in collaboration with the Rabbinical Assembly.

With Rabbi Mychal Springer, Manager of Clinical Pastoral Education at New York-Presbyterian

Hospital in New York City and Adjunct Professor, JTS

The Yamim Noraim are bound up with remembering. We revisit past actions in order to adjust

course in the year ahead. We remember people who have died, grounding ourselves in our

losses. And for many, remembering itself is the challenge. We will explore the centrality of

remembering and the ways in which attending to memory loss—whether spiritual,

metaphorical or cognitive—enriches our understanding of remembering in the experience of

the Yamim Noraim.
