We are shocked and horrified by the appalling terrorist attack at the Jewish Museum in Brussels. Our thoughts are with the families of those who were injured and murdered.
We ask the authorities to do everything within their power to find the perpetrator and any other groups or individuals associated with this despicable act. We ask them to act urgently to ensure the protection of all locations against anti-Semitic attacks.
At the same time we wish to express our appreciation to all the Belgian officials and people of good will across the world who have shown their solidarity with the victims and with the Jewish People at this frightening and painful time.
Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg,
